Sept. 30
Went to Regent's park today. London has a lot of parks, actually according to my Urban Studies professor only 2% of England is buildings, which leaves a lot of room for green land. Regent's is one of the bigger parks (there are 5 big parks, and a ton of smaller parks).
Regent's park has Queen Mary's garden in it, which is gorgeous. Included in her garden is a massive amount of roses. It's not the right time of roses, so there weren't that many still in bloom, but there were some. I imagine that during the rose season, the display is absolutely amazing.
There are also lots of fountains and waterfalls.
There is a mini castle!
Regent's park also holds the London zoo. Which I didn't go to because it's really expensive, and let's be honest you can go to a zoo anywhere.
