Today I went on a tour of Bath and Stonehenge. Bath is a city, that is named because of the Roman Baths that are the center of the city.
We didn't go into the Baths, but just explored the city. But first we ate a delicious meal. We checked out Sally Lunns. Which is a very old business that sells delicious bread.
After Bath, we headed to Stonehenge. We walked all the way around the stones, allowing us to get a variety of views.
The stones are kind of in the middle of no where. There is one road near them, but they are more or less just in a giant field, which goes on for as far as you can see.
At Stonehenge there is a visitor center which has an exhibit. There are also huts that show how the people that use to live in the area.
It was a great day! It's great to have the day preplanned, and not have to worry about anything. The guide always gives a lot of information while we are on the bus, which is nice, as you get a history of the area that you are driving through.
